Burlington Bees Novice Select Coach Named

The Burlington Amateur Softball Association is pleased to announce that Darrin Dawe has been named the Novice Select coach for the 2017 season.
Darrin is a certified coach with Baseball Canada and has 10 years of coaching experience – eight seasons with soccer, two seasons with basketball & hockey, and three seasons with Burlington baseball. Last season he was an assistant coach with the Burlington Bees Squirt Select Team.
Joining the Novice Select team as assistant coaches again this year are Corri Lane and Kent Barber.
This year we will continue to focus on the competitive development of our Novice players. We will expect hard work from each and every player while learning and having fun playing softball. Our team will participate in 1-2 fundraisers to help raise much needed funds for our season and will take part in 4 tournaments over the summer with 1 tournament being out of town (hotel stay). Our goal is to participate and compete for a provincial championship in August.
Pre-season workouts will begin in the next couple of months. If your daughter has expressed an interest in competing at a higher level, other than house league softball, please contact Darrin Dawe directly at darrindawe@yahoo.ca for more information.

Note: All Select players must be a registered BASA house-league player to be eligible to participate in the BASA Select program.
